The Covey Childcare

Sheila Partridge is the Managing Director of the Company. Sheila has a Diploma in Pre-school Practice Level 3 and Stage 1 Teachers Certificate.

Nigel Partridge is the Financial Director of the Company and also collects and delivers the meals to both Pre-school and Nursery.

The Covey employs staff to work with and alongside children including those with Special Educational Needs offering a Keyworker and 1-1 assistance, should it be required.

• Staff ratios are 1:3 Babies, 1:4 Toddlers and 1:8 pre-school children.
• The staff qualifications include BA (Hons) Early Years, Diploma in Nursery/Pre-school. Practice, NNEB, BTEC or equivalent. All staff are trained in Special Educational Needs. First Aid, Food and Hygiene, Health and Safety and Child Protection.
• All staff are encouraged to attend training and workshops to further skills in a variety of areas including curriculum.
• All Staff are CRB checked.

Luisa Partridge is the Deputy Operational Assistant of the Nursery and is currently undertaking her Certificate in Pre-school Practice and her NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, working alongside the Management in the daily running of both Nursery and Pre-school.
