Q: 'What would happen if my child was ill whilst they attended the Covey?' A: If you child becomes ill whilst in attendance, we will monitor them and phone you to keep you informed. If your child does not seem to get any better, we will ask you to come and collect them.
Q: 'What would happen if I was late picking up my child?' A: The Covey closes at 6pm. If you are unable to get to us by 6pm, we would expect a phone call as soon as you are able to let us know you will be late. If picking up your child late becomes a regular occurrence, you will be expected to pay a £10 charge to the member of staff who has stayed with your child.
Q: 'How often do the children go outside?' A: The children go outside on a daily basis, even if the weather is poor. As well as playing in the garden, the children are taken on walks, to the local park/field and to the local shops.
Q: 'Can my child attend the pre-school if they are not potty trained?' A: Yes, we do accept children into the pre-school who are not potty trained. If you would like us to help with the potty training, please let us know.
Q: 'How many staff are qualified and what are their qualifications?' A: The Covey has 15 Qualified Staff. 1 Level 6, 1 Level 4, 12 are qualified to Level 3, and 1 Level 2 qualification.
Q: 'How many children can you take at one time?' A: The Covey Nursery can accommodate 30 children at a time and the Covey Pre-school can take 26 children at one time.
