  Videos will be undertaken on the 23rd, 24th & 25th November.....  
 
 

All children are encouraged to undertake good working practice enabling them to attend the Nursery/Pre-school in a safe and caring environment. The Proprietor being overall responsible for the Health and Safety of both staff and children. The Proprietor is responsible for In-House Training with regard to the staff who work at the Covey. I

n-House and Outside Training is encouraged by the Proprietor in order for all pre-school staff to be up-dated with Certificates, in particular, First Aid. Regular Fire Drills are undertaken in a safe and calm manner.


 
 


 ENVIRONMENT

The Nursery/Pre-school promotes a warm and friendly atmosphere within a safe and secure environment encouraging children's development. It has a policy to check equipment and maintain general maintenance.

 CHILD PROTECTION

The Nursery/Pre-school has a commitment to the protection of children with responsibilities in connection with child protection matters. Should a parent/carer raise concern or disclose information to staff within the setting the Proprietor and/or Deputy should be informed immediately wherein a meeting will be arranged to discuss the information received and any action which may follow.

All visitors to the Nursery/Pre-school are required to check in and out by signing the Visitors book.

 MEDICATION

Named First Aiders will administer non-prescribed and Prescribed medication i.e. volumatics for Asthma only with parents written consent, copies sent to Ofsted & PSLA.
