Grant Funding

All meals are included in our fees / Government Funding entitlement.

EY4P declaration (to be completed by the Provider and Parent).

Parents must provide their Child’s Birth Certificate as proof of eligibility to receive the entitlement (a copy of which will be held on file).

The entitlement is offered for a period of 38 weeks with Parents remaining responsible for all fees outside of the entitlement.

The Covey’s term dates being 50 weeks. Term dates are issued to Parents showing the non funding and funding weeks.

The Covey advising Parents the set dates each term having advised its Local Authority of the set dates (the code of practice stating Providers can select its funding weeks each term).

The Covey has opted to offer the free entitlement where 5 hours daily can be used against the hours of attendance with 15 hours weekly as the maximum number of hours, 38 weeks of the year.

Parents may not always have access to their full entitlement at the times they wish at the Provider of their choice.

Parents can use 2 Providers to access the full 15 hour
entitlement for a period of 38 weeks of the year with the
remaining week’s payable in full by Parents.

Prior to the commencement of each term Providers register eligible Children and hours to their Local Authority, issuing paperwork to Parents once received by the Local Authority.

The Covey is able to offer the free entitlemtn only, 15 hours weekly for 38 weeks of the year. No registration fee for children who access the free entitlement only.

Non funding accounts showing fees in monetary terms and the dates in the non funding period
Funding accounts showing
Hours of attendance Free entitlement = Balance of hours
x By hourly rate of 13.50 Discount = Balance payable by Parents
